Fabrication

At Fabcon, for the success of our projects we believe in a fully equipped infrastructure manned by skilled and dedicated manpower.  In line with this vision, we have set up a facility that can reliably handle almost any kind of Steel fabrication.  The purpose built Fabrication infrastructure spreads across an area  of 18,000 Square meters within a total area of 24,000 sq. m.  The Main Workshop has a size of 88 m x 36 m in 2 bays.   This shop has a lifting capacity of upto 20 Tons.  The height under hook is 7 meters.  The workshop is equipped with a complete range of modern machinery necessary for efficient production under controlled conditions.

In addition to the main workshop, there are 3 open fabrication bays measuring 66 m x 54 m served by Gantry cranes and mobile cranes.  

A material storage bay of 15 m x 65 m equipped with Gantry crane feeds material into all the fabrication bays.

There is a dedicated Non-Ferrous workshop to cater to the Stainless Steel and exotic steels, fully enclosed and covered to avoid contamination from CS.  All chances of CS induced corrosion to these special steels are eliminated because no CS work is done in this shed which is away from the other fabrication bays.

Fabcon has the capability to undertake all industry accepted welding methods like SAW, GTAW (TIG), FCAW, GMAW (MIG) and SMAW.  Welding specifications (WPS) are available for most of the applications and materials.  Sufficient number of welders is qualified in each WPS including 6G and 6G-R positions.
